One can only gain weight by increasing his food and liquid intake. All the exercises in the world will not increase your bodyweight unless you eat and drink more. But if you keep eating more than your body can use up you will obviously gain more and more weight and this will be localized mostly on the abdomen, waist, hips and thighs. If, however, you increase your food and liquid intake and regularly perform muscle growth exercises, the extra food will not be in your stomach but will be carries through the bloodstream to feed the active muscles and the more you exercise and feed your muscles the bigger they get.
