One cannot begin to fathom the current regional mess that we are all silently observing. Yet, let us and for the sake of some clarity, define few parameters that ought to bring us closer together, living in peace and harmony. God’s master plan was to introduce some sort of divine discipline to his creation and thus sent abundant messengers to our area. Later, The Almighty decided that there should be a grander theme in a form of written criteria. The Lord had to start somewhere, where could it be more appropriate than Ur in Mesopotamia, and who could be more suitable than our “father of the prophets” could, Abraham. Somehow, Allah thought that our comprehension of “simply living in peace and harmony” requires three chapters read by three unique characters, and so it was. The sad part of it all that in applying such a divinely wonderful scheme, humans had to share the grandeur of it all and in doing so, aberrated from the strait forward path into the horrific abyss. Consequently, history witnessed millions slaughtered in the name of YHWH and today many are still relentlessly massacred. Could this truly be God’s intent or is it us travelling further away from our creator. Who is bold enough to put us back on track?
