One day I was with my mentor on our usual MEET UP and he said something that struck me; he said: The day the TREE stops RESPECTING the GROUND that is the day the tree will start dieing. The value a tree gets from the ground is dependent on its attachment/connection to the ground. He paused and continued. Most times, IMPACT is dependent on PROXIMITY/CLOSENESS. Prior to meeting my mentor I came across a book that has really taught me lots on #MENTORING. I had read about THE LAWS of MENTORING. I will share one (1) of the Laws with you now. THE LAWS OF MENTORING: 1. The Law of Respect What you respect, you will attract. There is an element of VALUE attached to the concept of respect. What/who you value, you will definitely respect. Who you will choose as a mentor must be someone you really value and respect. For you to be able to draw virtue or learn from him/her, he/she must be someone you deeply value. You can also call this law THE LAW OF VALUE! Mentoring-DEEP ...BECOME the BEST VERSION of YOU! • My eBook: Perception Management - Getting NOTICED in a CROWDED Marketplace is AVAILABLE for N1, 000.
