One day, a friend (Jawdat Manna) was taking me and another friend, Carlos Jayne, to Dheisheh Camp, in Bethlehem (first Intifada). The zionist monkeys arrested any Palestinian seen with foreign activists back then and we literally had to hide on the floor of the car and pray that we werent stopped on the way. We got in and hid inside a house, looking out through bullet holes in the walls. We heard a big commotion and some zionist monkeys were dragging this kid out of a house while his parents (and dozens of their neighbors) begged and pleaded (unsucessfully) for them to let him go. I remember holding a little baby girl there that was having seizures because of the constant exposure to tear gas that they fired into the houses. :( A man told me that as soon as the doors of the jeeps slammed shut, they started beating the kids. They didnt beat them outdoors in the camps because the people would go crazy.
