One day many years ago, I walked into the studio waiting area filled with moms, where I enthusiastically and innocently shouted to one of them, “I’ll be working on Susie’s private next Tuesday!” Moms from every side of the room stopped talking and just sort of snickered at me . . . I walked away thinking I was funny, but I didn’t know why? That night it came to me . . . I should not be yelling across a room that I work on dancers’ privates!!!!!
