One day this entire music industry will be turned on its head by a group of true artists with the heart to tell it how it is. Dear aspiring musicians - You dont need to pay someone to make your music for you, or a person telling you if your song is a hit or not (thats your job). You certainly dont need a record label f*cking you from every single angle with contracts that are designed to confuse you. Want to know what you TRULY need? ... Passion, love, a ridiculous determination to succeed, an unassailable desire to know your art, and a very kind heart. Whatever you do in life just make sure you do it with passion or not at all. Its so important that you love what you do and make sure you know in your heart that you did it yourself. Sure, people may outsell you in every sense of the word (record sales, rankings, tickets, fame, money).... but NOTHING is more rewarding than knowing you did it on your own. Life is so extremely short, do you want to look back and be proud of someone elses work that made you a superstar? Or would you rather look back on life and know that you gave it your absolute best, and that the moderate level of success you achieved was acquired through nothing else but your own hard work? So get out there, GO! Follow your dreams! Be the BEST you possibly can... Create, love, laugh, fail, succeed, lose yourself, find yourself and be YOU. Goodnight X
