One dog took me on a memory trip and it sparked off and kick in thing as strong in my mind as yesterday, we had taken my wife to see the M O well left the surgery while she sorted out other matters suddenly Guy went in to code red by that he was though walking advancing slowly growling very throat wise deep heavy his body was ridged bolt upright eyes so focus ears high all the signs this boy is code red, why so my training kicked I moved my left hand closer to his neck holding the lead close speaking great reassurance to him though he was walking normal that growl was a hundred percent I am not standing though it 2015 I was back in time I remember the golden rule if your dog in day light is at code red stop look at what his eyes and head are focusing at this will be the contact area. I looked at some flats clocking every window then I saw movement in one so I tapped his lead with my hand the idea was to make him know I knew what and where he looking at but why I still did not know why it brought out this hostile in him. So I went on then suddenly the window burst open, two people leaned out no barking but he was like a missile already to launch, that growl got deeper I kept a barrage of its fine good boy in a whisper low tone voice. Then as we got almost to our car I saw they were shouting something to him and waving their arms also, I was not in 2015 then but facing a hostile crowd with just me and my partner, my encouragement to remain calm was being pumped to him, no good turning him around we were dead in line we arrived at our car so I placed my hand on the lead around his neck talking more encouragement to him, no sense asking those numpties to knock it off they would only do more to see the dog to loose it. I unlock my car drop the ramp placed his travel harness on him gave him reward then a cuddle and then told him up car he walked up the ramp calmly but he had to have the last laugh he reverse ever so slightly put his head around the rear up looking to this now famous window then pulled back his head and laid down at the moment I heard a bang and saw the bang was the window shutting,what a great shame they did not break the glass in the window as it was quite a bang, but just as I clipped up I saw the net curtain pulled back so I gave a thumbs up smiled and waved finally as to give a good clear signal your crass stupid wind up went tits up. Pride was so huge by me to him no barking nothing than a growl throaty Guy old son your a star
