One dominating theory that bothers me is, if you let them walk in front of you, you are not in control Really? How bout theyre walking in front of you because theyre faster than you? Teaching a dog not to pull is impulse control. The dog pulls because it wants to get somewhere faster than the speed that were going. You need to teach the dog that its not appropriate to pull and we will get there when we get there. My 2 walk in front of me (not pulling) and Im in perfect control and I can tell theyre not being dominate and Im not against keeping at your side either, thats fine too. But I think its a dumb rule that a dog CANT walk in front of you
