One evening in Gainesville Florida,my inner calling made me let go - TopicsExpress

One evening in Gainesville Florida,my inner calling made me let go off my laptop, disconnect from the internet and follow my heart wherever it lead me hitch hiking. It was a realisation to walk the talk of surrendering to existence, embracing the unknown, listening to the heart, trust that universe would provide what is needed and not what is wanted, to go with the flow. This lead me on an amazing journey to connect with people who overwhelmed me with their generosity. Their is good in every one of us and the testimony to that were few ex felony convicts, drug dealers, drug addicts snorting away, who helped me out of their way in leading me on this journey. It was a living proofs of spirituality that the higher soul resides in every one which is part of all faiths. It was my learning to live every moment with awareness for my inner journey while going on this outer journey. Taking the small state highways was a conscious decision to discover real people in small towns, that lead me to their homes and hearts. They offered me shelved in the night, a meal, water, warm clothes, snacks, some money apart from the rides for further travels. This really touched me. It has been a life transforming experience to let go and gain so much abundance. My endeavour was to accept what came my way and be grateful to it, it made me eat everything which was served on my plate with thanks overcoming my earlier vegetarian food choices. It made me love everyone irrespective of any differences, this lead me to deep and meaningful conversations on various religions. It led me to be open to study with people what they offered like the Bhagwad gita,Bible,Koran , it led me to embrace the true essence of love in all religions and transcend the restrictions and limitations of organised religion. My outer journey led me through several small towns in the southern states like Florida,Alabama,Mississippi,Louisiana,Arkansas,Texas enabling me to appreciate the southern hospitality, cuisine, accent, manners, country music, contra dancing and belle`s. The journey was about enjoying every moment and not worrying about the destination, leading me further up New Mexico,Colorado,Wyoming, here taking the high speed interstate highways going through cities made me experience the generosity of all humans who came in touch with me,some coming to me with shoes which was the only thing declined by me, some gave meals, shelter, warm clothes, food, most of all the warmth of their heart. In Florida my heart had guided me to head to Montana and it was bizzare how some people met me with Montana connections in unexpected places. They were seen as signs by me pointing towards Montana. One of the biggest learning for me was to be patient for existence to deliver through the right person although like the saying goes the last mile is the hardest, the sudden drop in temperature tested my resolve. Finally waiting for a day without a ride at Cheyenne,Wyoming was very frustrating yet thanked universe for this test and my faith was delivered in form of an angel Velvet who drove the last 800 odd miles with her daughter Valerie to set a new record of the longest ride received by me. Now absorbing this experience while living in kalispell with awareness, love and meeting spiritually inclined people in the Flathead Valley of Montana.
