One false, one true. The news about visa free tourist travel to US is of course false but the visa free tourist travel to Japan is indeed true. I hope our kababayans will not abuse this privilege granted to us by the Japanese government by overstaying and illegally working there. I hope Pinoy tourists will also respect the customs, traditions and laws of Japan. They are very prim and proper, gentle and polite. Japanese women are gentle not loud and very subservient to the males. It is a strictly hierarchical society and they respect age, positions in their society. They are very clean and orderly. They dont just say thanks but domo arigato guzaimasu or many many thanks to you! They are very nationalistic and proud of their country and society. They are ceremonial in nature he he. Just drinking tea entails a ceremony. Even committing suicide is another ceremony he he. You dont pick any sakura flower or leaves because being Shinto, they consider anything in nature as sacred. Too much cultural difference with us Pinoys!
