One for the memoirs,,,,,,,, usually a planner but Joel and I decided to drive until we were too tired to drive last nt. Around midnight we decided to get a hotel room. full, full, full. Well, we continue til we find one. After numerous stops we find a Quality Inn, where we actually are I dont know. They are usually ok and we didnt want to spend a lot of money for several hours. The clerk says, I have 2 rooms left, one king bed non - smoking and a double queen smoking. I stand speechless but then say ok to the double smoking because I dont think the 4 of us can do the king. I mean, how bad can it be? Whew,,,,, what a night and we had to live with that decision. We open the door and the ability to leave stops. Kaden says mommy this stinks. Joel, dont say anything girls, just sleep. One tries to breathe and the hairs of the nose even burn. Joel tells me to breathe thru my mouth. He and I think of sleeping with the door open but where are we and who sleeps with the door open at a hotel like this? I decide to use this as a life lesson. Tell the girls this is what smoking smells like. This is how life will be if you decide to smoke. Kaden says, so you smother til you die?. Then Kyah bursts out, no, you get cancer, mesothelioma. Mesothelioma? Hilarious. Dont have to have the most expensive of rooms but price of air God placed on the planet is about priceless.
