One for the road: “I’m hungry…but don’t know what for.” Most of us have said that…from time to time. But…unknowingly… in doing so we have described the condition of all people…who do not know the Lord. They are hungry…but don’t know what for. How so? Well…it’s because everyone has been created in God’s image. And…with that comes a need to know God and worship Him. Unbelievers wonder why the emptiness. The lack of purpose. The sheer boredom of life. Like Solomon -- everything is meaningless. So today. Look for opportunities to represent Christ. As you do…people will find that for which they have been hungering. A living relationship with God…through Jesus Christ. Remember…they are hungry…but don’t know what to eat. That’s when you can point them to Christ. But…this goes in another direction. Sometimes believers don’t watch their spiritual diet. If this is you…stop and consider the direction of your life. Be sure your life is focused on Christ. Otherwise you too will be hungry.
