One last note before I get my tired ass to bed (ha!). Something I have been LEARNING to do (doesnt always come easily) is to NOT care so much and focus LESS on desire. Which sounds contradictory to the Law of Attraction as well as bodies of work that I respect like those of Danielle Laporte and Mama Gena (Regena Thomashauer). I like to think of life as a map...a puzzle. And each viewpoint plays its part. Lately I have been really listening to the Dalai Lama. Caring comes very easily for me. I am wired to love others, to love you. You may be too. But I have been finding a big fat joy in loving each moment instead of investing so much in particular relationships OR particular outcomes that I desire. Whomever shows up, is perfect. I dont have to try to control it. And the beauty is that God always makes sure I am literally surrounded by interesting people. All I have to do is show up as my beautiful soul self, and everything else is take care of. I dont have to over-plan anything. I dont have to over-strategize. I TRUST. This helps my belly feel calm, my yoni feel alive and most of all...my soul is at peace.
