One last post for the day. I have been making jewelry for about ten years - dont wear it myself. I started using precious metal clay about ten years ago and enhancing it with enamel - it was silver and gold back then. Now they have a spectrum of bronze, brass, copper and so on. I have a bronze bell that lost its clapper, so I got some copper clay and will be making a copper clapper from copper clay in my kiln over the week. The bell sounds gorgeous, like a gong more than a bell, and its sustain is 20 seconds before you lose the sound. Im making the clapper clean...does anybody know where Im going with this?
