One last thought before I get ready to head down to the Claremont Brew Fest. I ask that people enjoy their day today, but also take a second to reflect on how much time, effort and energy goes into planning events the size of todays. These events do not happen over night or by accident. It requires thousands of hours of time from dedicated volunteers. Please be sure to thank committee members while you are out enjoying your day...it will mean a lot to them. All this said, if you have a good time today, please consider signing up on a committee within the city. Find something that you are passionate about, whether it is within the school district, the Kiwanis, Elks, or another club, coaching a team through Parks and Rec, helping the SHS Boosters, the Claremont Chamber of Commerce, The Heart of Claremont Association...the list goes on and on. May of these groups could use a hand and are low on volunteers...and it only takes some of your time. Help us bring Claremont back to where it deserves to be...there are many people that are currently working on this mission...and any one of these organizations would love to have YOU right along side them. If you are interested in helping out with any cause within the city, please post here and I will do my best to get you in contact with the proper people. Have fun today!!
