One minor tidbit Id like to mention...a (sarcastically) small but integrally important item under the heading of metal songwriters that most all of my critics seem to conveniently like to keep leaving out of their arguments or ignore altogether... Those who like to keep stressing that Rik Fox didnt *do* anything after being fired from WASP (if he was ever in the band at all) ...They dismiss one of the cornerstone and seminal heavy metal albums of ALL time: STEELER, on which I recorded, and went toe-to-toe with Yngwie live. (I dont think very many critics would be left standing if they had to go toe-to-toe with Yngwie onstage for five minutes, LOL) The amount of time I was with STEELER is irrelevant-STEELER kept changing members all the time anyway, so, nobody was with the band for very long. But, I was fortunate enough to make the cut and the album and *thats* what matters. However...there was also my band SIN which, due to my ambition and drive, made SIN the top drawing heavy metal band of Los Angeles for 1984, over Keel, Stryper and Odin--three of the biggest and most popular drawing bands in L.A. at that time. So, for all those who say What did he do since then?-Nothing. Theres your answer. Sold-out headlining shows at nearly every event. Ticket sales and draw at the box office is what speaks volumes, bottom line, and with my guidance, SIN did just that. The critics will still try and dismiss it though, because *they *werent *there*. (back-pedal, back-pedal, back-pedal, etc. etc.) The metal songs that I have written and-or contributed to, also speaks volumes to the fans who have made their voices heard... reverbnation/rikfox I guess that that material doesnt count for much when stacked up against another great metal songwriter with a lot more albums under his belt. Life has dealt me a lot of bad breaks and Ive been tripped up a few times, and so, conveniently for some, I cannot compete toe-to-toe with that kind of comparison. But what I *did* create, (and will do again) kicks ass big time just the same. And THAT, ladies and gentlemen...is WHAT is celebrated and matters. :D We WILL ROCK again!
