One minute Bay was hanging out in the Bronx, and the next minute - TopicsExpress

One minute Bay was hanging out in the Bronx, and the next minute she’s at Manhattan ACC where folks are poking and prodding her, putting a muzzle on her, and then stuffing her into a cramped cage. Bay was definitely not happy and let everybody know. Of course, being 8 years old, and maybe having some cloudy vision—she might have just been terrified! But surprise, when it came time for her behavioral eval, Bay pulled 1’s and 2’s on things like the dreaded look, the squeeze, that hand pushing her food away, and was great when that strange dog came into the room. But Bay drew the line at running around playing tag—she didn’t bite or growl, she showed teeth---guess that told the assessor! But that earned her a New Hope rating meaning the only way she can get out of that cage alive is for a rescue to pull her. And that rescue needs a place for Bay to go. So can you see this feisty little girl running around your home, acting like the princess she was born to be, then rolling over to get belly rubs and reaching up to give doggie kisses. She might not like very young children who wouldn’t understand when she’d had enough. But this girl loves people, other dogs and will just have to work out her rules with you! Are you that someone special for a special sweetie? If you are, step up to foster or adopt Bay. Do it now—tomorrow, Bay will be gone forever and that would be such a waste of a good dog. https://facebook/photo.php?fbid=666863653326517&set=a.611290788883804.1073741851.152876678058553&type=3&theater TO BE DESTROYED - 09/06/13 Manhattan Center
