One moment people complain about standardized education and testing. Then they complain about schools teaching anti scientific religious material. If they didnt have standardized material you would have more religious garbage in schools that dont teach the children about important things, or the actual religions they claim to represent. Also, be happy you had social studies classes that teach you about other countries and basic geography.
