One month ago my husband, John, had a walnut size tumor removed from his kidney. This was in situ, detected early and confined to the kidney only. Diagnosis was when a CTScan with contrast was taken for a hernia, which was repaired the same time the tumor was removed during a 6 1/2 hour surgery at Stanford hospital. He is doing amazingly well and we are grateful for the skilled hands of his surgeons.
