One more thing. As the folks talk about the murdered animal, lets have a little classroom session on animal behavior. Growing up as a kid in the most rural parts of the state, and growing up in the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, I have witnessed many interesting things in the outdoors. Years ago, we had concrete cages to accommodate confiscated wild animals at the game farm. We had wolves, mountain lions, African lions, etc. When my daughters were small I would take them back to see Bubba the African lion, or the cross-eyed mountain lion I called Cedric. When I had leisure time on the game farm, and could visit the off limit to the general public cages in the back, I would pet Bubba through the fence, and Cedric would let me scratch him through the fence and purr up a storm. These were confiscated pets. However, the few times I took my small daughters around, the demeanor of both animals would change. The small stature of my girls caused the animals to drop the pet thing and go into predator mode. I only took them to see Bubba once. His intense gaze and actually pawing at the fence and biting the chain link was scary. The same with the mountain lion. If you think you would let an unknown predator around a neighborhood, I suggest you contact Seigfreid and Roy. Our officers are the best. They took the right action. This was an area with small children. It was getting dark. Know what youre talking about before you push the post button.
