One mother asks, I am 32 weeks pregnant, have not had flu or dtap during pregnancy. Do not intend to have baby vaccinated. My dad just went through cancer and stem cell transplant. He is a year cancer free, has a rebuilt healthy immune system and now has been advised to get revaccinated with all the childhood immunizations. He has pretty much followed everything his conventional oncologist, etc told him to do. Hes not gone any alternative routes and I dont think he will. My question is... Will it be safe for me during pregnancy or my newborn baby to be around her grandpa after his vaccinations and if so how long should we wait to visit? Worried about shedding. Thanks for any input (especially with references to good sources.) Im having a hard time finding answers to this specific set of circumstances.
