One name that is being discussed across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana right now, in places ranging from the headquarters of political parties to tea stalls in small villages, is Raju Ravitej. This name came up in Pawan Kalyan’s super hit ‘Jana Sena’ speech on March 14th and not much is known about him to the general public. The superstar stated that Raju Ravitej is a “dear friend who has been a source of great support and he is from Warangal”. This Raju Ravitej is going to hold a very key position in Pawan’s ‘Jana Sena’ party, so we at Release Day decided to find out a little more about him. We were pleasantly surprised when we realised that this man is a very respected thinker who is well known in corporate circles. Raju Ravitej and his firm ‘Eurisko’ are frequently engaged by corporate clients for employee training and motivation. Some of his clients include The British High Commission, KPMG – London, Satyam Computer Services Group , Nokia and Hughes Software Systems. Raju Ravitej has also authored 12 books, some of which are used in Indian Business Schools. When we asked a few people who are close to Pawan Kalyan about the role being played by Raju Ravitej, we were told that Pawan Kalyan relies on this man to discuss and debate issues related to society, philosophy, politics and money. ‘Jana Sena’ has gotten off to a very promising start and the presence of intellectuals like Raju Ravitej in the party is a welcome sign. But how much of a difference can they make and what sort of a roadmap are they going to come up with? Perhaps, we will find an answer in the book ‘ISM’, which has been written by Pawan Kalyan and Raju Ravitej together. This is the book that will serve as the ideological foundation of the ‘Jana Sena’ party and it will be released very soon.
