One night I had a vision. It was as if all opened to me at once. In the span of time it takes to blink, I suddenly had eyes to see and ears to hear beyond the realm of my present knowing. Even equipped as I was with these new spiritual faculties, I was woefully unequipped actually, lacking even the requisite tools to understand what it was I was graced to perceive. Narrators facilitated, holders of this particular knowledge, though narration is an idea that obviously includes words. However, no words were spoken here. There was instead only the transfer of knowing. One moment I did not know and the next moment I did. This knowing involved my human abilities, which were seeing and hearing and feeling – though again, all were insufficient, particularly feeling. For that which was beyond my knowing, even though I could see and hear, I could not feel. Without feeling there is insufficient recognition, and humans fear what we do not know. And that night I was struck with a terrible fear, suddenly knowing that which I could not feel. Yet a skeleton of super knowing began to form, and I was counseled to continue. I was assured that that which was beyond my ability to recognize was better than anything that I could possibly feel. I knew the best I could possibly feel was pure love, and if the unknown shown to me was better than pure love, I could be at peace. And so I calmed. Still, this is a vision of knowing beyond my human knowing, rendering it supremely difficult to articulate. I will convey the principles imparted in the vision in the simplest form I can manage, a form we can all approach – even myself, as I reread the words and remind myself of the Absentlands to which I have been so very blessed to travel.
