One night last week Ben and I were coming home from getting groceries at the HyVee in Johnston. We had to stop at QT by the Interstate . He went in got the merchandise and we were on our way out of the driveway he said to me see that guy by the door? I answered yes. Ben said I gave him some money, he usually stands at the lights over on the side of the interstate, dont know why hes not tonight. I said his clothing doesnt look like hes homeless or poor, hes actually clean. Benny said I just had the urge to give him money. I thought about it , maybe he had children with medical problems, maybe car issues, cant pay his mortgage or rent, Christmas is coming, then it hit me I just described my husband and myself and just about everyone in my family thats struggling somehow. So even if someone has a nice house, car , a good job, clean clothes on, fairly healthy. Dont think they dont have or may not experiencing financial problems. Im so proud of Benny for helping that man. That what God wants us to do, no matter their clothing or home they live in car they drive. Just help others when you can in the name of Jesus.
