One night, several years ago, Charlie and I were driving all over looking for a lost child. I struggled with God over it, (which is how our faith grows!) :-) ME - God you know right where this child is, you could take us right there, why dont you? It feels like you are mean. You could do something nice and you arent. GOD - Tami, I created my children to write/tell MY story, the gospel story of life and hope, for the world to read, not their story. They get to write my story for many to read as they respond in obedience to the circumstances I bring their way. (Trust and obey.) This is their assignment! It is an honor to be my representative. You need to encourage them in their faith so that they can glorify Me in this! It made so much sense! Of course, God has to bring His children all sorts of troubles, trials and heart ache... how else will the world see Jesus! We are His ambassadors. Here is Gods story, written in the lives of two of His children who love Him. Be blessed! Thank you Cara for sharing this beautiful treasure of truth with me today! To God be the glory! HE is worthy!! 2 Corinthians 5: And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
