One of Tennon’s primary nurses was not there on Wednesday - TopicsExpress

One of Tennon’s primary nurses was not there on Wednesday November 12th when he was extubated and began to breathe on his own however, she was there on Thursday September 11th When the doctors sat us down and told us he would probably not survive the grade 4 brain bleed and we should terminate his life. She tried to comfort me by letting me know that she had helped many moms through the difficult transition and would help me. Since that time she has witnessed us, family and friends praying over Tennon, praising and worshipping God, having bible study in his room, comforting and praying with other families, praying with the doctors, reminding the doctors that we are not interested in their prognosis but are relying on our faith in Jesus Christ and has even joined us on occasion. Yesterday we smiled as we learned that she led the doctors and nurses in the hallway as they loudly applauded and celebrated Tennon’s victory over the ventilator. She said when he begins to take the bottle that she’s going to shout and they may have to put her out…lol! She and one of his other nurses have even asked to come to our church upon Tennon’s discharge to testify to God’s goodness. All glory to God!
