One of favorite running facilities is the Hemingway Track at the Hotchkiss School, in northwestern Connecticut. The only objection Ive ever had to it is the Nutcase Walker; periodically, she shows up, walking the track for a number of laps, which is fine, except that she has a 6th. sense for the position of runners on the track. No matter the lane shes in, she literally always manages to cross over into the lane of an oncoming runner at just the right moment to cause the runner to have to change lanes to avoid a collision. During popular times and seasons, Ive seen this regimen disrupt 3 or 4 runners as often as a dozen times during the course of one of her sessions.
