One of greatest things I desire for my children, is to be surrounded by good and inspiring people. I have come to realize that goodness and greatness is caught as much as it is taught. You must see examples of these things before you get it. And you might not really get it until years later. I remember seeing Reggio Ho around campus all the time when I was a student. You couldnt miss him. He was so tiny and had such a glow about him. I was well aware at the time that his was a great story, but it was just sort of one among many. There were lots of inspiring people in my life at the time. Now I understand that collectively they had an effect on my attitude that I didnt realize until I got much older. Today, knowing how terribly hard life can be, I can better appreciate the greatness I was surrounded by years ago. When the kids wake up from their snow day sleep-in later this morning, this short video will be required viewing in the Kloska house. Thank you Lord for blessing me with so many Lou Holtzs and Reggie Hos in my life. Fortunately, there are many good and inspiring people that surround my family today. I see a whole bunch of them at our church, schools and in the community. They may never have ESPN do a segment on them, but hopefully my children will look back and get it.
