One of many reasons why I love Hugh Freeze. This appeared in the Daily Journal and written by John Davis (Oxford Citizen). This is just a part of the article, Freeze shifts O-Line! “I was real proud that we took control of the game and to see our defense get that pick six was big,” Freeze said. “I would have never guessed Cliff would have made it with me when I first got here. I could not be more pleased with the turnaround he has made. To see him succeed on the field is very rewarding to me as a coach.” This quote brought a few tears to my eyes....and a chill. Why, because most coaches, dont even know the name of a guy that has sit on the bench for 4 years and Coach Freeze never gave up on Cliff. He didnt call him Coleman ;Coach Freeze personalized Cliffs achievements by addressing him as a person and by calling him, Cliff. Folks, we have one fine man as the Coach of the Ole Miss Rebels. Not to mention, a great Coach.
