One of mine and Philip dearest friends sent this to me to help - TopicsExpress

One of mine and Philip dearest friends sent this to me to help with the eulogy yesterday I think it sums up my hubby perfectly so I wanted to share it: Docker was known for his terribly bright mind and his caustic wit. He was a legend in the city. Everyone who knew him had a Docker story - good or bad. He was a brilliant stratergist, a fantastic broker and a great visionary and a formidable opponent. Right up until the end of his illness he had convinced people that he was fine. He was completely unjudgemental and took everyone on face value. As a result, he had a group of startlingly different friends. He was also one of the kindest and most generous people I ever knew. He took people under his wing and wanted to make them happy. And he did. He genuinely cared. Docker changed many peoples lives financially through his businesses. He made several people millionaires. He lost several fortunes as well. But more importantly, he changed peoples lives through his friendship. As a friend he turned your world upside down. He caused trouble, He annoyed your neighbours, he got pissed and crashed his car, he nearly got into fights, he wouldnt let you sleep until you had finished the bottle, he sang out of tune, he argued with taxi drivers, he played shite music at top volume. He constantly challenged authority. He made you laugh. He loved you with all his heart and made you feel that no matter where you were or what you did he would always look after you. He was a man who definitely made an impression. He has left a huge void by his absence. But he has left an enormous group of adoring family and friends who have hilarious and joyous recollections of a man who has changed their life in some way for the better. So although he is not here today, all of us carry a piece of him in our hearts and will always do so.
