One of my all time favorite work is the build of the Cylon Raider by Lorne Peterson, but some reason I awesome just continuity to the Viper the size Raider model scale size is off. The Cylons are hulking monsters in size compared to Starbuck, and Apollo or any human really, but look at the cockpit of the Raider side by side to a Viper. They look about the same size except the Raider is is wider. Now on the blueprints of the Viper is shows the length is 30 ft, and 14 ft wide. The Cylon Raider (source battlestar.wiki) The Raider is 41 ft length, and almost 51 ft wide. That is close 4 times wider than the Viper. The studio scaled models didnt follow a true size difference is I read that correctly. Was this the way if was filmed, and not scaled correctly or just an honest mistake. Take a look at the entry of the Battlestar landing bay you can see these ships look about the same size, but in reality they shouldnt be. Pierre Drolet did capture some of the size difference in one builds.
