One of my best friends whose husband (LT Louis Allen) was killed by another American Soldier has been trying to plead her case to the military award branch and receive the purple heart so she can give it to her 4 young boys in memory of their father. She has been trying to plead her case to the military and have them add a sub category to the existing qualifications for the purple heart which would be; That any soldier who willfully murders a fellow soldier while in a combat zone or hostile territory is in fact an enemy, thus meeting the criteria for the award. She is working with her congressman, and submitting ONE MORE request package to the military award branch, requesting a hearing to plead her case for the Purple Heart- She will send it out tomorrow morning- If you believe that LT Louis Allen should receive the Purple Heart please send a quick letter of support to barballen1994@gmail, for inclusion in this submission!
