Ideally, we are looking for someone who understands general PR concepts and maintains a positive, encouraging attitude. The internship is a 3-6 month long program that pays $12.50/hour ($18.75/hour for overtime). It is a great way to get your foot in the door -- the majority of the junior staff in this office began as interns. The program really is phenomenal. Because Edelman is very intern-reliant, the work tasked to interns is comparable to that done by junior staffers in other offices (no coffee runs). Its a great educational program that provides legitimate work experience.
