One of my current obsessions is to see this 185 year old and long abandoned cemetery restored and returned to the community, both as a historic piece of Shelby County history, and a community park. Weve come a long way in the last 3 years, but have miles to go. Goals for this year include seeing it organized as a non-profit organization, continued work at finding, and then the restoration of damaged stones, and development of a plan to oversee basic maintenance.
