One of my dads roommates in my past gave me this thought and i thought it should be shared to you. any dickhead can be a father, it takes a true and strong man to be a dad. with no disrespect to my biological father, whom has been there in his own way and now has the opportunity to be a dad to his sons. This statement has always stayed with my consciousness, for it is the same with women where any woman can be a mother but it takes someone truly special to be a mom. I have been lucky enough in my life to have had both a mom, and a dad, and nothing i can ever do will repay what they have given me.
