One of my dreams is for city dwellers to strike out and build new colonies in the woods, further to the north and west....instead of living like a bunch of sardines in a can. Think about it, the vast majority of our population lives within 100 km of the 49th parallel, and also along our sea boards....now lets say some natural catastrophe should occur, say a tsunami or 10 metre rise of the ocean....where would you want to be then?
