One of my favorite Gospel musicians has gone to Heaven. I was a young teen when my folks took us to see and hear Andrae singing in a big church in Chicago. Friends of my folks purchased a record that night then gave it to us. I played that record smooth. Although I went off [spiritually] for a while in a direction I shouldnt have gone, I never forgot the songs that Andrae wrote with such feeling. Through It All, The Blood Will Never Lose Its Power, on and on. In recent years he wrote and sang, Let The Church Say Amen. [which I really love] but it was to the song, MY TRIBUTE that I first began speaking and singing right after my brain stem stroke. I heard his testimony for the first time and never knew he like me stuttered. Andraes testimony really touched me while I was in KU Med Neuro Intensive Care. Tonight the church all over the world most say that this was Gods time for him to go. Let the church say Amen. Thanks Andrae and I cant wait to see you in Heaven.
