One of my favorite Gospel passages is proclaimed today: The encounter between the two people on the road to Emmaus and Jesus. Jesus asked them, What are you discussing with each other while you walk along? They engage in a dialogue resulting in hearts burning within us. Perhaps todays invitation is to take a walk and share with someone what is burning within your heart these days? What are you passionate about? Is there an invitation or two to be gathered by todays Gospel reading, or from your conversation?
