One of my favorite moments from HOTE is the interview with producer Glyn Johns (checking out his book Sound Man through Library Loan, BTW), who talks about being blown away by the Eagles, when they sang the old folk song Silver Dagger for him shortly before going to Lunch one day. Johns was hooked, and the rest as they say, is History. Sometimes I find myself asking whether the Eagles harmony is even humanly possible, as its so perfect...while not an overly emotional person, I have yet to listen to the Desperado Album without getting goosebumps and chills.
