One of my favorite parts of Christmas time is putting up the tree. We have little traditions we follow since Joel and I have been together..for example, getting a family ornament with the year on it, since the kids were born we get them each their own ornament that represents them and our favorite that means so much more now is Grandpa Mireles ornaments he gave us with his traditional yearly Christmas card when Naya was born. I treasure them so much and I intend to continue them through our family as heirlooms. Im fairly new to the family but I was so blessed with his love and kindness. He is dearly missed.
