One of my favorite spiritual son lost his biological Dad last week. I was so touch by his tribute that which he shared and that I share below. I am encouraging Daniel all is not lost YHWH is in control. His university journey that he has begun will be complete in Faith. I pray I will be there for him as a vessel used by the invincible heavenly Father. TRIBUTE TO MY DAD SHADRACK NJUGUNA As we gather today 30th October 2013 to say goodbye to my Dad Shadrack Njuguna Karugu, I want you to note that he was a jovial man whose friends can testify. He was a very hardworking man and his mother, siblings, wives and children can attest to that. He was a very social and a man of the people and all of us and especially the residence of this place can confirm and that is why we are all here. His sudden death is a great loss not only to his family but to the whole village who interacted with him most of his time here on earth. Dad has left a gap that no personality, king no no nobody can ever fill or replace below the sun but he who is above it and above everything else beyond our thoughts and imagination. He never allowed me to know and to love him like I would have wished, he didnt accomplish his dreams like he wanted, he didnt love everybody the way they expected but he was the best daddy to me beyond any reasonable doubt. I dont have and I cannot have another Dad like him but one and only who is eternal and who lives in heaven. There are three things that are constant in life i.e change, death and God. We may cry but we cant bring him back because death is constant and the owner also, we may criticize him but is too late to change the situation at the moment and therefore, the only thing left for us is to accept and appreciate what he did and accomplished during his life time here with us because that is what and how Yahweh wanted it to be. Death has two main sides, one is physical to those, who are left and the spiritual being. If we were to choose between him living and resting we would all choose living beyond any reasonable doubt but Yahweh just like a farmer has reaped what he sow and what lawfully belongs to him he has not stolen from anybody. A farmer can decide to eat his produce on or before maturation and nobody will question. It is in this spiritual context that we as his family members, humbly accept the will of the heavenly father and exclaim that may his Name be praised. What is more important now is not him but you. What about you? If u die now since death is the fate of all human being and does not knock, are you prepared? The end of the body is the grave but the spirit will live to eternity but that may not be the case for all of us. I believe in life after death after Messiahs return and judgement thereafter. Those who believed and died in him to eternal joy and peace while those who didnt to a pool of the lake of fire where they will be tormented all eternity. Where will you be because you cannot be in both places? You can only be in one the choice can only be done by those who are living i.e you and I because he cant. Any correction you need to make can only be done today and now, its what you believe in that will help you then, but developing the faith starts now. Choose today to live and dont give excuses because it is right at hand, seek him now that he can be found seek seek seek and thou shall find, seek ye the kingdom of Yahweh and his righteousness and the rest shall be added unto you (Matt6:3) To his wives, Yahweh is the husband to the widows, he will be your husband, to his children Yahweh is the father to the fatherless, may he take over the position of your Dad from now hence forth, to the family member Yahweh is and will always be the best comforter may you be comforted for the loss of your Dear One, to his friend and village at large Yahweh is the best friend & companion who will never leave you. May He reside with you forever more.
