One of my favorite things about living in the Netherlands is that - TopicsExpress

One of my favorite things about living in the Netherlands is that I can finally get all the medical help I need for very little money. I pay about 50 euros a month (including subsidies) for my health insurance and my deductible is 350 euros.. and literally everything is covered, including glasses and dentist costs. My coverage is worldwide. It feels so good to not have to worry about paying for my chronic PTSD treatment, or medications for my food & outdoor allergies. Hospital stays, visits to specialists, & even travel cost to and from the hospitals are completely covered. I just dont understand why this is not happening in the US.... health maintenance & life are of the utmost importance. Why are we not treating it like it is?
