One of my favorite things about the blood of Jesus is that you don’t have to wait any period of time to be forgiven, washed clean, and start over. No matter what you’ve done, you can repent (change your mind) and ask God for forgiveness instantly… and He always grants it. Why? Because Jesus paid the COMPLETE price for your sins and mine. We don’t have to beat ourselves up or do enough penance so that we feel like we’ve been appropriately miserable for juuuust long enough. Nope. Your sin, no matter how bad, is not too big for God to forgive instantly when you repent. All because of the sacrifice of Jesus.
