One of my favorite ways to procrastinate from the work on hand is to take a stroll through the fabulous collections up at the UC Berkeley Botanic Garden on a winters day. I crave seeing something new and in bloom, and the various collections from around the world that grow well in our Mediterranean climate never disappoint. This is one I never see in the nursery trade here, but has marvelously elegant and fragrant blooms in February. The rest of the year, Id have to admit, most wouldnt give it any attention at all. Anyone know their brooms well?
