One of my favourite places to stay in bali has been the Tegal Sari in Ubud. Love this place so tranquil and restfull...no tv just rice paddies to look at while enjoying your breakfast or sunset drinks. Far enough out of main strip but close enough to walk to markets, although up hill . Great restaurants close by and with free pick up and drop off supplied by Tegal Sari to dining places and markets in ubud.
