One of my former Brandon College students, Miho Tsuji came from Japan to Thailand for vacation. She began her stay by visiting me in Chiang Mai. We spent Sunday together bicycling around the city. We got lost a few times, had to duck out of the rain twice, visited a Buddhist temple, and explored the wonders of a big traditional market. Then we ended the day with a nice dinner. My Thai student, Shine, joined us at the table. How good it was to be together with a former student and a current student here in Thailand. I felt like a proud father having dinner with his grown-up children. Miho and Shine are the only child in their own families, but last night, they were the perfect sister and brother! We were all one happy family. Thanks, Miho!
