One of my friends explanation to me here follows ----- : the perfect way to follow Islam is implementing what u learn from Quran and Hadeeth. Quran is just one. u dont need interpretation. best is to learn Arabic to understand exact teachings of Quran that many translations fail to give. just for more knowledge refer to tafsir ibn-Kathir. the most authentic hadeeth is in Sahih Bukhari. while u can find some more hadeeths in Muslim or Trimidhi etc. but some ppl corrupt it. Allah has warned the muslims in Quran to not get divided into sects. still people got divided bcz they follow certain scholar instead of Quran. there r 4 main scholars of early Islam. all of them clearly says that if our statement contradicts the Quran and Hadees then follow whats in Quran and Hadeeth and dont follow me. we are all Muslims. those who r divided into sects, Allah will judge them accordingly. we follow our heart bcz heart is never wrong. it brings u back to ur fitrah. if u chose to listen to ur heart u r a good muslim in shaa Allah. if u dont chose to listen ur heart then shaitaan occupy u into sins and desires.
