One of my friends who many girls actually LOVE and would love to be with -for multiple reasons- told me that he met a girl and he was interested in her. So I was like that is awesome dude! Then he later on told me that he changed his mind about the girl. I asked why?? He said I saw her Instagram.. Now hear me out. Judging a book by its cover is wrong, we get it. But you can not simply think that people wont judge you by your pictures online. I want you to realize (both sisters and brothers), that the first thing someone will do before even telling his/her parents, or even before they talk to YOU, is check your Facebook and Twitter! This is how life has become! Before my sister got married, one of my friends asked for her hand. So my mother obviously asked for my opinion, and as soon as I heard the name I said Do not even think about it. Why? Because I have him on Facebook. Most of his pictures are of him dancing in clubs, drinking, smoking weed etc.. Do not. I repeat. Do not, post pictures of you online sinning (especially smoking weed or any of that gangster stuff). First of all, yes to you it seems cool, but I swear all your friends are laughing at you behind the screen. Two, it will screw you over in the future. When you become older, more mature, and start looking into getting in a serious relationship; the Halal way. Her/his parents will ask, and your friends will describe what they have seen. If the person changed its a different story. Do not expose your sins.
