One of my interviews for Press TV. Excerpt: I believe the airstrikes in #Syria and #Iraq is not effective of course. I think the #US is pushing up a campaign to care about what is occurring on the border of #Turkey - specifically in #Kobane- because it has to give an impression to everybody that it actually cares and is very committed toward this war or counterinsurgency against the #ISIS group...it is about controlling the situation as opposed to destroying the #ISIS group. What the Turkish government is doing...is it is waiting to see if the #PKK capitulates to its demands. If the PKK will allow themselves to be used as a proxy army against Assads government, if it gives up its wishes to be an autonomous #Kurdistan and work with the #Turkish government, then the Turkish government is going to come in like heroes and basically stop #ISIS...the Turkish government is trying to use this bad situation for its own benefit. presstv.ir/detail/2014/10/19/382858/us-does-not-care-about-destroying-isil/
