One of my kids got a flat tire new years eve so we left the car in the Starbucks parking lot until today. Started the process around noon...forgot keys drove back, needed floor jack, drove back, need baby sledge, car was on fumes needed gas, waited at Costco in Naperville an hour, tires wont be available for three weeks, drive to a Costco an hour away in Chicago, now eating a half gallon of frozen yogurt for $1.35 waiting for at least another hour before starting my hour drive home, on my day off, after getting 4 hours of sleep after a really bad night. Part of me feels like thrashing on the ground in a pity party tantrum, and the other part of be feels blessed to be able to buy tires when I really need them, leverage my day off, and eat yogurt while I am waiting. I think I am going to put the thrashing part of me in time out and finish my yogurt.
